Part-Time Nutrition Program Assistant
The Mason County Nutrition Program is hiring a part-time assistant to support meal services for
local senior citizens. Duties include assisting with meal preparation, delivering meals to
homebound seniors, and helping with kitchen cleanup. This position is Monday through Friday,
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay is $20.10 per hour, and the job qualifies for county retirement
benefits. Food Handlers and First Aid/AED certifications are required (training may be provided

Full-Time Administrative Assistant to the County Judge
Mason County is hiring for the position of County Judge’s Administrative
Assistant. This position performs a variety of clerical duties in support of
the County Judge, serves as Mason County Indigent Healthcare
Coordinator, handles liability and property insurance claims, and manages
responsibilities associated with Commissioners Court. Excellent
organizational, oral, and written communication skills are required, as well
as, professional public relations skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook,
